My skin is usually never dry, because it's mostly oily. Recently, though, I've been having dry patches all over my face that flake, and I've never had this problem before. I tried putting on coconut oil, I didn't use some products that I thought dried my skin out, didn't take a shower to dry it out, exfoliated- and nothing worked. But I haven't been breaking out, either.
I've been 10% Benzoyl Peroxide cream overnight to prevent breakouts, and I have the feeling it also dries out my skin, but I have the fear that if I stop using it I'll break out again. I also use a mild cleanser in the morning and night, which I temporarily stopped using because it felt like it was burning my face.
Is it as simple as drinking more water? Or is it the stuff I'm using? Ech. I just don't want to flake everywhere.

Utilize it to get a good career on filmsets, the machines they use for snow are super expensive, and you could help them out

Yeah no shit your skin is dry. Either stop using this or try a lower concentration. You can also try using a moisturizer.

Benzoyl peroxide is usually not recommended as this causes harm to skin.
Just use a good moisturizer OP, then you'll be fine. Go to the store and ask one of the chicks, they'll be able to help you out.
