Well, they are right to some extent, but they miss the point.
Moderate fapping is ok. What isn't ok is doing it on porn though. It's not natural/healthy to be able to get your instant gratification with just a click away on a computer screen. For many men this is the reason why they are perfectly fine living a life where they can just rub one out with porn whenever they feel like. This probably influences the "wiring" in your brain and makes you more adapt to never approaching women etc., since you unconsiously know you will get your satisfaction anyways.

But if you are really honest with yourself, you feel like shit after your orgasm that you got behind your computer screen.

Porn is a very new thing. Generations before us they didn't have it, or at least not as much and easily obtainable as we have it now. I believe this is one of the reasons why there are so many more neckbeard beta autists nowadays.

It is definitely worth trying out yourself, you can always revert back to your old habits if you want. For many it increases overal libido and assertiveness. It's healthy to want sex, but cheating your natural instincts isn't, and all of you deep down know that this is true.
