my guess is youre upset because youre insecure and feel like shes the only female that you were even close to dating. now youre right back to square one with nothing to show for it and some other guy got the date that you worked for.
my best advice is to do something to gain self confidence and quit talking to this girl. or at the very least put a lot of distance between you. she probably doesnt see you as anything more than a guy to fill the time with between boyfriends and will just keep acting this way.
then again, most of this is just a guess without much background.

Nice guess, probably would have said the same, but for as long as I've known her (2 years) she hasn't had a boyfriend, also we didn't get close until 2 months ago.
