Small dilema here.
My girlfriend is going to hairschool, I'm attending university currently. Her schooling will provide her with multiple opportunities(fashion show, networking wtc.), and she'll be able to work full-time as a cosmetoligist in 18 months. Meanwhile, I have another 3 years left of Uni due to dual-majoring, so I'll be making less money for a while, be in more debt, and on chance i dont land a decent entry job, be broke as hell. I am applying for internships, working and taking summer classes but still feel like a loser in comparison. I love and am happy for but I don't wanna bring her down.
Tl;dr Girlfriend's future looks brighter than mine after just getting accepted into her school.
And yes, by all means tell me if I'm just being a bitch. Majoring in CSCI and Information Assurance (not just for the "easymoneylol" genuinely interested in the fields and wouldn't mind working in them)
>here's a situation where things are going to be like this no matter what and I'm going to post on 4chan about it for no apparent reason
What's the point of this thread?

I'm just asking if I should be jealous or just get my shit together? I'm obviously not going to quit school but I could see this becoming an issue later on.

I don't think jealousy is the right emotion here, insecurity is more correct. And what are you going to do about this? It's not like you can fast-track getting a degree.

Well, during a real term at university full-time is 4 classes, add a part-time job and I'll be busy. A weekend job would be nice just so the income is balanced but then i can see her bitching we don't see each other enough
So, in short, no idea. I'm thinking though.

If she's not understanding about the fact that you have other shit going on in your life, I'd rethink the relationship.

You're right, thank you.
