At this time I can't afford to see a psychiatrist, referrals are hard to come by, free health care is unavailable due to circumstances I can't control. Those are the only reasons I'm on here.

go see a psychiatrist to get medicated and enter cognitive behavioral therapy with a psychologist. This is your only option if you want to get better, this isn't something you can fix on your own.

if you can't do that then explain to me why and I'll give you advice on how to change that

I suffer from BPD as well and have been in a 5 year relationship and as of yet haven't received help from a professional. All I can say is you need to watch for your triggers and remove yourself from the situation ASAP if you feel something coming on. I'm prone to extreme bouts of almost uncontrollable rage. I've never hit my partner or threatened to hurt them but I have punched a door or two in our time together. Does your partner understand your condition? Talk to them about it. You will need to seek help in the future but until you can they will need to understand that when you remove yourself from a confrontation it's to avoid losing control
