Then it IS the appendix.

If not, it might not be it, but still can be it possibly. So still it can't hurt to see a doctor.

It is. Have you been working out? Could be a case of abdominal muscle pain.

If it is acute appendicitus, you tend to get worse over time, usually being unable to walk within 48 hours after onset of first symptoms. Just in case, have transport ready. If symptoms worsen, report to the hospital.
