one of my new guy coworkers keeps on bringing up sex, makes sex jokes, or bring up his sex life during conversations, or how many times girls and gays tried to pick him up. what gives? as a girl, i often do not know how to react.
He's a loser, act accordingly
Just be dismissive without being hostile. "Okay." "Sounds good." "Uhuh." "Good to hear." in a neutral tone of voice. If he comments on your lack of real response, say you feel he thinks you're more interested in his sex life than you are.
Also, make a point of asking him or talking about other, more normal work stuff if you have a window where you're supposed to make small talk.
He's either trying to hit on you in a douchey way, or generally in a douchey stage of life.
its super weird because im waay older than him. he's cute and all but i see him as a brother

Sounds like he has a milf fantasy.

"John, I think that talk like that is not appropriate in the workplace. It makes me uncomfortable and I would prefer that you not do it around me."
And if he keeps it up, log each event and bring it to your HR office.
