Any medfags on?

I regularly get really dizzy and often fall over. My vision generally blurs or goes completely black. Lately the spells have been getting worse, and my mouth or face tingles and feels warm.

I've talked to my doctor about it, and got the "drink more water" advice, but it's not working. I'm on some medications that might be contributing, but I can't go off of them. The meds are for bipolar disorder, psychosis, anxiety, and OCD. I've also had my brain scanned recently after having stroke-like symptoms, and came back with a clean bill of health.

So aside from drinking more water, is there anything I can do to prevent myself from fainting/falling? I've gotten really good at catching myself and falling into a sitting position, but I'd love it if it happened less often. I talk to my doctor again in a few days.

I didn't have a related picture.

See a different doctor because that one is clearly retarded.

Sounds like something I share with my brother

Low blood pressure
Eat more salt

Well, she screened me for stroke and MS. She said that MS was her main concern, but I came up totally clean. We discussed going off of my meds, but decided they were too necessary. I might discuss switching meds at this next visit.

Shit, I forgot to mention that my blood pressure IS on the low end.

One time, I was in the hospital, and I was woken up at 7 AM to have my vitals taken. A nurse took my BP, looked concerned, then called a second nurse over. The second nurse took my BP, looked at the numbers, and looked concerned. They called a third nurse over, checked my BP again, then got a doctor. Apparently I should not have been able to walk or talk.

How much salt is good? I don't like salt too much, but I can try adding some to my breakfast if it will help. Does it matter what sort of salt it is at all?

Do you most often get dizzy or fall soon after going from a sitting/lying position to a standing/walking position?
If that's the case, it sounds like it could be orthostatic hypotension, possibly as a side effect from antipsychotics.
>>
Yep sounds like low blood pressure.

More water, more salt, eat more, avoid heat, don't stand up so quickly.

Low BP is called hypotension just FYI if you want to look up more about it.

I suppose most often, but lately it's been happening after I've been up and moving for a while, too.

>tfw hate eating, don't put salt on anything, and love the heat
I'll do my best, regardless. Thanks!
