I got hired as a presentation team member at Target. My orientation is tomorrow. I have no idea what I just signed up for. My future boss said something about putting up promotional posters and such, but the actual job description describes heavy lifting and rearranging products. Am I a stocker?

No, you are a loser.
>>17000562
Don't worry you'll quit showing up after a week.
>>17000595
Wow. Gee. Thanks.
>>17000617
Thanks for your support, I guess.

I'm genuinely sorry I got that dig in. Truth is you are not a loser at all, because you are a member of the slice of the population that is working a job to pull your own weight. That's the difference between adults and permachildren, so ignore my previous flippant barb. Congrats on the job.

You are forgiven, bro.

Reading up on it a bit, it sounds a bit like the position I'm working in now. If it's anything similar, you're going to be resetting aisles for new merchandise, possibly working planograms. It might mean adjusting shelves, moving fixtures etc.

That sounds like a mess.
>packing up old merchandise on pallets
>rearranging shelves
>fixing dented shelves
>scraping old pricing stickers with a razer blade
>double checking to make sure if there is enough space for the new product on the shelves
>stocking the shelves with new product
>those absurd little pegs for merchandise
I think I would prefer a standard stocking position. Too late now. Welp, at least I'm not going in blind anymore. Thanks anon.
