What is the point of living if life is inherently meaningless? Even if one creates a meaning, once one dies that meaning will be gone and won't mean anything anymore. Why bother living?
The impact you have on others' lives and the things you create can live on after you. In many ancient buildings and cathedrals, one can marvel today at the works of create masons and carpenters who have been dead for centuries.

I see your point. But even then you won't be alive to take any pride or notice in the effect your accomplishments will have on the future. And once the universe inevitably dies, nothing will ever remember you or the work you did.
Have you experienced life? Have you done everything worth doing? Have a six pack? Fucked an 50 year old? Seen the Tian Shan? Partied in Moscow?
