I need to change my major at a trade school, but don't know

I need to change my major at a trade school, but don't know how. I've suddenly realized that being a welder might shave off too many years of my life and that I'm really not designed for that line of work in the first place. I don't know how to go about changing my classes at a tech school though, or if it's even allowed. I'm not even sure what words to type into Google, as even that doesn't bring me to any helpful links. The schools are closed until the 4th so calling them is a no, and welding class starts on the 7th. What do, /adv/? Am I too late?
