I am an American living in Austria. I want to cut my hair using my electric clippers, but I am not sure about the outlets. In the bathroom there's a shaving outlet, which I could fit an American plug into, but I'm not sure about frequency differences.
Is it safe to use my US clippers in the shaver's outlet, or should I just buy some cheap Austrian clippers for 50 euro? Thanks in advance!
why would you bring clippers overe there without knowing? anyways, your clippers should say if they're ok with 240v, learn how to read. the frequency will be close enough, just worry about the voltage.

My mother sent them to me, I never asked for 'em. Would it say on the clippers themselves or should there be a booklet with all the power info?

It should be written somewhere either on the device or the plug
If it says something like "input: AC 100-240V 50/60hz" it means that you can connect it safely to the outlet
If not, then you cannot because it would get damaged
