I haven't been in a relationship yet and I think it's about time since I'm 19. But I have no idea what could go wrong or what I could do wrong once I have a gf.
I just want to know, what are the lessons you guys have learned while being or after a relationship?
I mean the kind of lessons like
>This relationship failed or turned to shit because this happened or I was too much like this
>In my next relationship I will do that so it doesn't happen again.
Stuff like this you've taken away. I just want to learn from that.

Don't get in one.
If your gf is picking a fight, it means she wants/ needs sex.

Massacre time needs to be a real show. Need/10
Bump. I'm in the same position. Always thought dating was moronic in high school because all the relationships seemed doomed to fail so I never even attempted to date someone. Now I'm 19 and feel like I could actually start a good relationship with somebody but want to know where not to go wrong and bad signs to look for in a partner.
Long distance is a trap

This is true
When she is venting/complaining/upset don't try to fix, try to understand the situation and her feelings about it.
