It's the unnecessary lines the artist puts on faces, especially young females.

It's art 101 that the more lines you put on a face, the older the character is going to look.

The mom can have extra face lines, the principal can have extra face lines, sure. But adding those lines on the younger female characters (and even some of the male ones) makes them look oddly older and wrinkled than they should. At best, they constantly look tired.

Personally that's my only gripe. I love everything else about the art, especially the colors and painterly shading.

The Injustice Unlimited thing happened right around the time Hreinn Games were planning their next game, which was originality supposed to be about Raven and Beast Boy from Teen Titans. The problem is that different people have very different tastes, so you are not going to find any consensus here. If you care about satisfying as many people as you can, you should probably stick to safe fetishes.

Anyway, about the game. Any IP can be 'bent' into a lewd game. But what's important is what is the type of game you want to make.

Try to think about how you see the game playing out. Do you want to slowly corrupt targets, turning them into nymphos? Do you want to play as one of those targets, getting tricked/corrupted into becoming a nympho? Do you want to make a simple "lose = rape" type action game? Or a visual novel / dating sim that involves intricate dialog and earning "love points?"

And that's just a few examples of some common genres.
