I get that you made it for a contest and that it's probably not super polished, but the game is just not very fun..

Which is not to say it's bad, there's just not enough to it to hold interest. The game itself ran fine.

The ultimate pay off is a black-haired Akabur Hermione naked from the waist up and a bit of text smut. That's not very worth it for something that was pretty grindy considering how short it was.

The writing isn't terrible. I don't remember any glaring typos or grammatical nonsense. I liked your little text invitations and a lot of the scenes were pretty cute. But it's not something I could fap to, either.

It probably sounds like I'm shitting on you, but please don't be too discouraged. It's a solid beginner's effort, and I hope you'll go on to do more.

Seems like a solid start, There are a lot of buttons that don't do anything, it would be nice if you made them unclickable when you push out demos.

Going into the library changes the screen size for some reason.

I think the CoC travel system is very poor/ amateur. With the engine your using, you could easily make some sort of visual travel/map.

You have world/ locations/ town/ warehouse/ court, all separate buttons/ all locations.
Mixed in with personal, "view physical, view skills, relief, appearance.

You should move those personal buttons to the left column under the character so, they could be used where-ever the player is.

Then you could the bottom area strictly for actions.

First I was skeptical because I imagined it was going to be CoC with a sprite cutout over a background similar to JONT characters, but I think the portrait zone is good, you could put locations there as well.

From a monetary standpoint, it is absolutely better. You could build a game, complete it, and then watch most people simply pirate the shit out of it. You risk your time and effort without knowing if you'll even see a profit.

At least with Patreon, you don't risk as much. You can charge for development, making piracy far less damaging. Everyone who refuses to pay for porn and pirates the shit out of everything. Well, this is one of the ramifications.

The overall lack of quality is another. Nobody with a high level of skill is going to waste their time with such a low earning endeavor. There is a reason why almost every project remains a "hobby."

If you are willing to take the risk and mess with the game's files I have fix for that.
To see the hidden files of Roundscape you have to uncheck "hide protected system files" option on your file browser's settings.
Then go to www-folder and in it to data.
With any text editor open files Map197.json, Map215.json and Map418.json.
Then from Map197 take the line starting with "data:..." the whole line and copy it to replace similar lines in Map215 and Map418.
That should fix the female gallery. If you copy the line to files Map303 and Map449 it fixes the male one too, in case you ever need that.

1. Yeah, the buttons its true, I will do that overtime because right now we have just enough time for the demo and although this isnt hard, it takes time from that. So expect the UI to be improved slowly but steadily overtime

2. Yeah I actually planned to make a map, but I had to draw it and again, not enough time. Its fine, once we kick off I may update that since the code is already done and I would only have to change the UI a little to make it work.

Yeah all those buttons are mixed, the idea is convenience, I think those are the ones who will be used the most and the UI has enough space to hold all of them in a single screen. If it becomes cumbersome we may update this.

But THEN, anon, then, you start making money. You go from $64 per month to $1500 per month out of nowhere, and you think "wow, okay, maybe i can make games", so you add a vanilla sex scene, and show it to the world with excitement, and all of your fans say "BUT WHERE'S THE FUTA FURRY KEK?" and you sigh and say "okay, fine" and add another furry scene, but this time it's futa in an easily accessible place.

Then you go up to $4000 per month. And you think to yourself, "self, i have a choice to make. do i keep making money, or do i build the game i wanted to make?" and all the while, you're getting hundreds of messages for furry shit, and you realize: that's your entire fanbase. Without futa/furry/beast/cuck, you're back to $64 per month.

But you hate making it. So you make a scene, and tweak the code and the writing, and all the while your profits go up, and everyone hates you, and you hate you, and then you make obscene amounts of money and your life is a chaotic, unhappy, filthy rich shithole.

Well firstly I wouldn't take money for shit like that bro, I'd already be getting a fuckload anyways. But assuming I did do that. I'd add in scenes to replace that scene to make it up for the people who don't like it.

As for the rest, I'd stick to the core part of the game.

You could keep the same main story and gameplay, it's just that there would be an actual difference between the two character creation choices because this is generally how people want to play either option.

Well I think we've been making our customers happy. Otherwise we probably would have created other scenes. As people have mentioned doing a game associated with patreon comes with caveats. Still you can never make everyone happy.
