I'm playing Zombie's life and I'm having trouble progressing the game.
I've got Mother and Alex at level 8 and they are requesting a ring and some flowers. I made the shovel but it seems you can't dig flowers up from the garden. And the ring I have no idea where to get at all.
As for the sister, I've got her at level 5. Kissed her and talked about her as my girlfriend but I have no idea how to progress.

I think I've figured out what I like in porn games.
I like games where you have options to do, or say things to girls and see their reactions depending on their level or corruption or affinity. There's something nice about discovery when you have choice and freedom in action. I've played The Artifact yesterday, and while it is incredibly well made and has high quality animation and an interesting story line, the linearity and the way that the porn is delivered is kinda dumb. The game doesn't lets "you" interact with the characters (girls), it only let's you see the characters do their stuff. Also, the other element that I like about these games is absurdity and spontaneity. Take Akabur's games or Library Story, or SuperPowered for example. They are packet with absurd scenes that pay off in a hilarious and often sexy ways. Does anybody relates with this? I'm looking for another game that fits these criteria, maybe some of you veterans recommend me something?

The Artifact felt more like, 5 to 10 minutes of the worst tropes ever you can find in any snes JRPG, then 1 minute of 3D sex. There's no point in exploring, no point in talking to the NPCs outside of the little story quest, and the characters were bland as fuck. I completely agree with you, to me it isn't a good game if you don't have interactivity. Linear games are basically visual novels and not really "games".

From the western games right now interactivity isn't something well developed, mostly because instead of focusing on doing a good interactive scene with multiple developments and options, they just do a single sex scene and you watch it... surprisingly a lot of flash games do this better, since instead of having a static sex scene they use resources and vector animation just like a 3D games does, and so its easier to customize your character and add more interactivity.
For example flash games like 'peach untold tale' is surprisingly good and has a lot of content.

Most western games so far are basically a one-time play, when you reach the end you have nothing else to do. Unlike interactive games where you can restart and replay multiple times to do a different routes and change variable to check different outcomes.

May the future bring us more interactive ecchi games.

Open up steam and see what "normal games" are nowadays. Dad Shower Simulator, Gone Home, Gal Gun. Unless you're meaning games like Skyrim and GTA but at this point it's a matter of budget, and I'd still argue that Rance has more depth to its gameplay than the sad shadow of what the TES series became today.

I think that you guys are diverging from the original discussion too much.
The first poster wasn't complaining about gameplay, but actually about interactivity.
And that is what is missing in most western games.
A nice GAME should give you multiple routes to achieve your objective, be it by force, coercion, romance, luck or something else and then being able to see the impact of your actions.
At least for me, that is what I expect in good porn games.

Basically, instead of having 4 fixed scenes with different characters that you will have to unlock to finish the game, having these 4 scenes as different outcomes for a single character are much more entertaining to me. Yes the overall game will be shorter, but to me a short good game is way better than a long static novel in which you can't play the way you like but is actually forced to follow the same path as everyone else.
