Pick something that you want to do. If you're not doing something you love, you're not going to care.

Some advices/suggestions:

Make a list of favorite characters. Ideally, characters you feel you have a story to tell about. Each picture you draw, each look on their face, each detail of their body language is telling a piece of a story.

Make sure it's something you have an interest in telling.

Remember that your efforts are going to look like shit at first, especially to yourself. Dan Shive has been doing this for over 15 years now ... if you feel the need to compare yourself to his work, at least go into his archives and compare yourself to the first year or two of his efforts.

That's why your pic above doesn't really suck. It looks like Susan back when Dan was drawing her in 2003/2005. Re-read Grace's Birthday Party; there's a solid resemblance, although your effort is a touch more manga-ish. And is your own style.

Practice faces & facial expressions, and Dan has given you an incredible archive to use as reference. Work your way to more dynamic body language ... but a simple, relaxed stance like you did above is a good start. Next try sitting. Then try from left, right and center. Then from above then from below. Don't expect to do it all in one week. Or one month.

Set yourself goals of something you want to attempt, 3 months out, 6 months out, etc. Susan swinging a light sabre, or a hammer, for possibilities. Then try different outfits, like Susan as Princess Leia. Slave Girl Leia, so that Susan would beat you up for it.

Pic related brings a lot of that together: Susan in a Star Fleet uniform as a fairy doll. Or Slave Girl Leia. But, pay attention to filename on that; Dan didn't do that in his first decade.

Develop a thin skin. The Internet is brutal, and 4chinnz is full of assholes. At least you're not trying this on /pol/.

My first thought when her spell was revealed was that it had to be used for intelligence gathering. It's a spell that takes place entirely within one's own head, doesn't leave any traces, and includes a sense of time displacement. It's not even known what range limitations it has, if any. Plus, with the illusion-manipulation abilities, it's not only even MORE powerful for information-gathering, but it's also got some very obvious entertainment applications.

Also, the game won't be worth being in the EGS universe unless both the player and the conquest(s) have access to sex morphing magic. Encouraging Sarah to draw out of her shell and explore possibilities, even & especially possibilities with other characters in 3- and 4-way romances and erotic encounters, would be a pretty amazing and unique game.

For example ... unlocking a path where I could morph into a cute girl and engage Sarah, Ellen and Nanase in a 4-way. Even unlocking Nanase's Fox persona and turning it into a 5-way. Or a 4-way with Cat & Rhoda ....

Under such a general layout for the game, it would be important to establish a solid bro relationship with Ted to access his tech, including a path for a permanent new sex & look as default for player & main conquest. Hopefully that would involve a 3- or 4-way with Ted and Grace plus Sarah to access Teds trust and willingness to share his tech.

I would not in the least mind starting out as a male character to Sarah's female and unlock a scene or two where I could play out a female (even a catgirl) to Sarah &/or Grace as males.

I mean ... if you're gonna go full EGS, it's a wide open universe with many possibilities.

I'd also like to make sure that the options remain for the female characters to keep slim and athletic bodies. I don't particularly object to the V5 forms and even experimenting with them, but I'm not a great fan of gihugic flopping tits and asses the size of Volkswagons. Catalina and Sarah are two of my favorites because they are somewhat tomboy-ish, in addition to their personalities.

Laying it out like that, my mind immediately jumped on a structure in which Grace is the "guide" of the sim, assisting the player (Elliot or an OC, either could work) in their pursuit of the chosen partner through advice and moral support. So there's a non-coin but nearby pornoverse of mainline continuity somehow in contact with the game's universe. And at some point, they have to interact with them, and get them to focus on tasks without accidentally starting to fuck suddenly every 5 minutes. They regard the normalversers like alternate versions of themselves that don't blink or poop for somehow not ending up fucking every 5 minutes. Their notions of virginity are entirely centered around innocent things like hand holding and first dates, which they have trouble talking about or watching happen, unless they are very bold. Everyone from the pornoverse is a bisexual contortionist, and no one is asexual or a pedophile, although cuddle drive varies from person to person, with some people just seeming to have no interest in it. Tentacle monsters are just another type of person. Puberty happens to everyone in their sleep in it's entirety on their 17th birthday, and festivities mostly involve the birthday boy/girl/creature getting the hang of their new drives. Pregnancy takes only a few weeks, and only hurts as much as you want it to. Their men have no refractory periods, and futa-ism is an STD you can be treated for, or get all cultural about, as you wish. The more I think about this, the more I like it.

Broken Ted would represent a level of conflict that HAS been decidedly lacking for years now. Even in contentious moments, every EGS character has a marked blandness to them in their level of understanding and degree to which they will think ahead to the most reasonable/rational explanation or course of action. Even attempts to the contrary often conclude quickly and with a sense of "best case scenario" that nullifies any perceived stakes. It's always been my biggest critique, lumped in with the often neurotic depth of explanation for near every facet of the world, magic or otherwise.

It's been so long since I got a sense of tension from EGS, it'd be nice to see some shot back into the forefront.

Okay, so here's the game flow as I see it.

-Scene one, as listed in pastebin.
-Scene two, gives you three discussion points that can raise affection, two each for Elliot, Susan, or Sarah. Two of these can also raise for Grace in the background.
-Scene three has the same setup as scene two for Justin, Ellen and Nanase.
-Mini scene with Tedd and Grace testing one of the new morphs for the TF gun.
-TF test scene. Three people with highest affection show up. You pick morph for each of them, then discuss. Affection can pop up or down based on that, and also based on who else is there. Will need a flowchart for that, forms usable, etc.
-After TF scenes and aftermath, Grace needles you about you 'making googly eyes' at who you've got affection raised highest with (unless it's her), and we start down character-centric path.

Does this sound reasonable?

I just had an interesting thought...While Tedd is definitely distraught, I think he'll wind up accepting it. However, I think it could be the perfect time to re-introduce Lord Tedd, perhaps as the next main villain. Like, Lord Tedd found out about The Will Of Magic and bent it to his own will in his universe. Interesting possibility. However, there would need to be a canon explanation for the exact time & date & hospital that Diane was born in.

Example: the universes were so perfectly, closely aligned & parallel that the records from one universe were transposed into the other one and is (almost) undetectable.

The cool thing is that Susan & Diane could be (under such a plot device) the exact same person right down to their genetics. And that would help tie up rather neatly the two of them having more or less identical magic affinity.

So had a thought on that game idea. Suppose magic went ahead and changed up on how magic worked and it causes all kinds of problems. Pandora, true to her word, works with Sarah on trying to master this new magic. The forums are not currently functioning properly, and I’m asking the hosts at 910CMX about both that and whether the forums should continue being there.
There doesn’t seem to be a lot of activity beyond the EGS forums, and while it doesn’t need to be a hustling and bustling place lest I lose street cred, I have a responsibility when calling them the official forums, and that responsibility includes making sure they are receiving regular maintenance and support in every which way necessary.
I don’t doubt those at 910CMX care about it and do their best, but lives move ever forward, and if their focus is naturally elsewhere (work, family, etc.), it’s understandable that the forums would lose priority. 910CMX is not their jobs, and they have other things to do.
I need it to be someone’s priority if I’m in a position of endorsing it, however, which is why I don’t think I’m going to be linking to it in an official capacity anymore.
That doesn’t necessarily mean the forums will be gone; I’m not going to stop them if they want to keep hosting EGS-related forums. On top of the aforementioned issues, however, I feel very separate from the forums (I stopped regularly visiting myself due to how distracting they were to me), and that itself is an issue.
I can’t afford to regularly monitor them myself, and while I have entrusted other people with that task, my absence is both necessary and a significant problem.
Looking over everything I’ve typed here, I think I’ve already made my decision about whether I should continue linking to it. I’m not thrilled about it, but I think it’s a decision that’s overdue.

Susan has always had issues with physical contact, but she wanted to work on becoming more comfortable with it.

I've spent more than a couple idle hours speculating on Susan's sexuality(what EGS fan hasn't? duh.) I doubt if she's even fully aware of what she wants. Two turning points (in mind) were Grace's birthday party when she was a boy and experimented a bit with girl-Justin. Then she imagined what a date with Cat might have been like, and regretted not doing it.

If this part of the story ever gets explicitly told, I think Susan will end up being slightly more lesbian than bi, but probably still somewhat bi. There was that point where she was trying to imagine if she might be interested in Elliot, as a guy, and she just couldn't make up her mind. In my mind, that was a further tell. If she was really feeling her sexuality and feeling strongly hetero, I'm not convinced she would have backed off the Elliot option so quickly, even with relief. It was like she'd found a good excuse to stay in her closet at that point.

But, who knows. Dan may surprise us.

Sarah being very bi has been a surprising, and cute, development. I wasn't entirely expecting that from her.
