To be fair, a lot of artists have cut and run, which is why TF pays his artist well and several others haven't delivered quality material.

The problem is that when starting development you generally have no backers, so you take any artist you can get and give them massive concessions (in the case of BS, a massive cut and retaining rights), but when the project gets big the artist wants more or can't handle the pressure, which can kill huge projects because art is the core of these games.

For what it's worth, depending on the brief, I used to charge $2000+ for a month's work as a Pixel Artist, as far back as 10 years ago, making pretty crappy art for shitty mobile phone games. The art was crappy partly due to the awful briefs I'd get, and partly due to the rushed nature required to hit the often times unreasonable deadlines. Typically that would be for all the assets required for the title including tile sets, character sprites, animations, menus and effects.

I've also charged an hourly rate of $35 for the same kind of work when the client preferred to pay by the hour.

I have family who are traditional illustrators who never work for less than $800 per page and charge much more depending on the complexity of the work.

And we're all small time compared with people at the pinnacle of their craft working in Hollywood and the games industry.

I like the pose, but she's got noodle fingers. It usually helps to draw fingers as 3 connected trapezoids, and then refine your lines from there.

I like to think the pose is the reason why her breasts are pushed together, but I can't see a way to adjust her nude version to have them spread apart more since I'm not that artistically capable. I may go back and adjust them later, so I appreciate the advice artguy.

I checked it out since I was bored. You play as the god Hades who is somehow transformed into a human by Genie (from PT) and are trying to find him to get changed back. Pretty nonsensical, but whatever. I gather the plan for the game is to have you meet Disney chicks and train/bang them.

So far the free demo just has Rapunzel, who you can convince that showing her tits is a normal way to show trust. I think that's the only particularly interesting thing you can do so far, and the image for that is small.

So, no point in checking the current demo if you just want to fap.

The project does look like it has real promise and seems to have a lot of the structure for the game already set, it's just lacking in all but a tiny sliver of real content so far.

There's plenty of fan art out there for most of these properties, just steal it, build a solid, functioning game with this stolen art (but be honest that it is 100% stolen art), get people interested in the product, and then, once you've established that you have a good core product, try to bring an artist on board to create original artwork.
