As much as I love the Powerpuff Girls, somehow, I'm not really excited about this revival. For one, I'm not a fan of how thin they made the line work for the show. It reminds me too much of the aesthetic of Clarence, rather than that of Craig McCracken's (of course, McCracken is no longer working on PPG). But, while that aesthetic worked on Clarence, I feel that applied to PPG it's too generic. I almost miss the thick, black lines of the original, and the snappiness of its action, so reminiscent of Speed Racer and the other silly animes that inspired the show.

I'll very likely give it a shot when it comes out. But, right now, I'm none too excited based on this footage.

"Top notch" is relative. But, I wouldn't go so far as to hate on these shows because many of them passed through the hands of Cal-Arts graduates, or because they are "tumblr-tier".

Compared to whatever stuff is on Nickelodeon, the stuff on CN is looking pretty good. And ever since Disney cancelled Wander over Yonder and finally ended Gravity Falls, I've found myself turning more and more to CN for my western animation fix.

That's not to say it's perfect. Adventure Time has long lost its luster, and the same can be said of the ever-formulaic Regular Show. But, I'd still continue following the more plot-driven shows like Steven Universe and Venture Bros. They're great in relation to their less than stellar contemporaries.

On a more serious note, why the fuck does Cushypen have such an obtuse system? From what I've seen from the leaks, most of the artists are furry and/or no better than your typical DA artist (a lot of them even do that obnoxious "tumblr nose" shit too). Combine this with the ridiculous price and the fact that you need to wait months to see everything, and I don't even get why someone would pay for it. Sure, RM has good stuff, but he's basically carrying the entire thing.

On a side note, sites like Slipshine offer waaaaay more content at a fraction of the cost, and their overall quality tends to be higher too.

Any have any opinions on what are the best diapers to order online as a Canadian? I really love the space diapers from ABU and shipping was great through them, but the tapes on the last case I got were absolute shit. Had to keep a roll of duct tape nearby because an hour after wearing the tapes would start falling off. I'm wearing a Little Pawz right now, and I haven't ever had trouble with ABU's tapes. As far as I've observed, the two main things that destroy tape durability are:

1.) Getting powder on the adhesive or landing strip. Your stickiness is reduced dramatically if this happen, so be careful if you have any on your hands when changing.

2.) Pulling the tapes too tight. It's always tempting to make the tapes as tight as you can, but this will put a huge amount of pressure on them, causing the adhesive to pop off much more easily. Better to start with a comfy middle-of-the-road fit, then make an adjustment later (ABU has always been good for at least one re-tape for me.)

As for other diapers, Tykables ship to Canada I believe. Rearz is also based up there, and they've got quite a few different types to choose from.

Sorry if this is bloggy but I'm in kind of a weird situation. I'm the same anon that posted about my "girl friend" who just broke up with her ex. In case you missed it, long story short:
