Well looking at your most recent pics, I'd say your current look is definitely on the right track for that. I'd say look more into the technical parts of drawing the diaper for now, with maybe a bit more bulk. More bulk = More good around these parts.

I definitely lack the vocab of an art critic, but I'd say that the main issue with your current diapers is that they can ometimes look more like edited-on diapers rather than parts of the images themselves. Or at least they can blur the line between an edit and original art a little. It feels like they lack the depth or texture to make them look like diapers being worn, rather than a white shape at that part of the character. I've got zero ieas on how to improve on that, but I'm sure there are other diaper artists who actually know about this that can point you in the right direction.


As an example of you achieving your stated goals for a diaper, I'd say this Starfire pic was a good result. A realistic diaper, but still thicker than a store brand piece of shit. But again if you're wanting thicker diapers, I and most people here on /aco/ will definitely not stop you. Your Lisa Lisa diaper also has realistic-type bulk, but it also looked like a pink slab of cloth on her butt, rather than a diaper that would wrap under her groin and have a frontend. Although that's probably more to do with that specific piece rather than a conistent issue, since you seem to have drawn behind shots of diapers like those fine before.


Also in regards to wet and messy diapers, consider practicing drawing the diapers being bulky or sagging from the wet and mess. Seems like you've almost exclusively drawn a dry diaper and put color on top of it.

Overall I'm optimistic about how your art will improve.

They're more or less the same. The way I see it a sleeper is footie pajamas without the footies. And you're absolutely right about the shorts. I don't mean like super tight shorts where it's blatantly obvious you're wearing. Just tight enough so it holds everything in place nice. Having a saggy diaper would be even more revealing I would think. It also depends what kind of diaper we're talking about. Thinner and lighter capacity ones would be much more concealable than a bulky high capacity one. But there's nothing wrong with having a little bulge. Rearz are usually what I go for and they're about as bulky and high capacity as you can get.
