I have played plenty of Japanese rpg maker games which run with that theme but I cant think of any wegs. I honestly enjoy finding ugly games (3d included) that are still engaging enough to fap to. That was probably something lost in translation. 4chan is extremely harsh on Akabur, and he knows that. It's blown way out of proportion to the point that people shit on him just because it's trendy, and disregard the fact that he made what is basically the WEG flagship title (PTG).

Go to other communities, and it's nowhere near this bad. Just a bunch of people pissed off that SC34 isn't as good as PTG (which is hardly a fair comparison to begin with) and that the SC34 update is taking too long (because they're desperate to play it even though they hate him and his games so much). Even though Akabur keeps telling people it will be a long time and not to wait for it.
