People seem to enjoy my stuff. I don't have the spare time and income to make it without compensation, so I set up a patreon. The old stuff is going to be public, and $1 gets you anything new. I'm not about shutting myself off like some super special snowflake handing out crumbs over my iron paywall. I know how much I'm worth, and I've known artists who do that. The creator is not superior to the customer.

I'm in a more stable situation in life, and finally have time to sit down and grind out reliable work. I had an issue with someone trying to spread my weirder stuff around IRL but that's been resolved.

Besides, I missed writing porn. It's fun. And it's nice to get paid for what you enjoy and get feedback on it, rather than letting it collect dust on a hard drive.

This is how the cycle used to go.

>I write something, either commission or personal project
>Post it to Devart
>Some criticisms, some praise, interest fades
>I get bored, distracted by real life, lose motivation
>Hunting for commissioners is tedious and they're challenging to work with sometimes because I'm a picky fuck
>Rinse and repeat

Having a patreon means I get to work at my own pace, have consistent motivation to churn out new stuff, and post free stuff when I choose / charge as I need to. It's a win-win.

Besides, I'm going to post some free stuff too, like I did on the devart page.

It's because fat artists want to draw art of characters they like, or which have appealing designs and personalities.
Canon fat characters are rarely ever interesting in both personality and design. Jasminka of Little Witch Academia is a perfect example of this: Her design is the most unappealing out of the entire cast (to me at least), and her entire personality consists of wanting to eat, with little to play off of.
Of course, characters with personalities which got fat over the course of a "fat episode", which is more common in cartoons than anime, have a huge boost in fat art, simply because it is low hanging fruit.
