Deep gameplay is always a plus for me, at least as long as it doesn't have ridiculous (for a porn game) control requirements that don't let you play one-handed.
For example, in Sengoku Rance and Kamidori I pretty much forgot about the porn and had fun without it.

That said it's not a requirement - if it at least feels like a game and not a fucking VN shit's fine.

I'm a bit spoiled by Free Cities when it comes to micromanagement. Not that it's a super complex game, but it has so many options and shit to play with that it stays fun even though it's basically the same thing over and over.
