Hey i'm working on a project with a friend and i came here to gather some opinions and/or ideas.


It's basically esmeralda trainer where you play a more greedy and ambitious version of quasimodo.

He is siding with Frollo after being heartbroken when esmeralda kiss phoebus.


It's a basic renpy project, we have a story plan, he is the artist and i will code basic shit.

Don't expect anything fancy or a release soon, we don't have much writing skill and i'm still

Look, I know you love being obnoxious, but if you're actually working on three different versions of the game at the same time, having them based in a versioning software will help you out a lot when you need to share changes between the three.

I don't know what you're doing right now, but if you're just manually copying and pasting between the three, you're setting up risks that you'll forget something here, or introduce a regression there, and generally just have headaches you'll have to waste time dealing with further down the line. You're already using github: I'd highly recommend thinking of git branches task-oriented sandboxes that you switch between whenever you're doing something like introducing a new feature or reworking an old one. You already obviously have at least two layers of separation on your current builds and your git should reflect that.

If you don't want it to be public stuff, just don't push it to github.

How do you enjoy it?
Whenever I try to play it I just stop because I am bored out of my head for some reason. There is no real sense of flow. Even with the scenes. For me it feels like "farming town ruins for stands when replaying CoC - the game", even when there are things happening. Even interactions with companions feel grindy.
Maybe, that's because those are not interactions, but press x to corrupt? Not sure, actually.

tried hooking him up with an artist and it got some chibi sprites for animation but then it ended up a queef
he's got at least one script that I've seen
