I agree. I'd gladly take KyoAnis animators and have them animated some of my favourite titles. However, that mean that we axe all other parts of that shitty studio. The directors, the script writers, the people in charge of audio design and art direction. Basically anyone but the animators.

You don't seriously think the average studio is better at these things, do you? Even KyoAni's worst adaptations (Kyoukai no Kanata and Phantom World) were at most mediocre in terms of writing, characterization, etc, while their top tier material (K-On, Nichijou), is basically unmatched among television anime.

Hardly any of thier shows have non shit writing, sorry. And thier audio direction is even worse, which in itself already is a major accomplishment. I dont care about the average show, I care about the good one. There are dozens, hundreds of shows that are better written and have better audio direction than KyoAni shows. This is particularly important for shows that are parts of the romance and drama genre. I dont care if it looks nice if the writing and audio direction, which are the two most important aspects of that genre, are flat out bad. If KyoAni makes my "my favourite shows" then none of them are my favourites anymore, theyd just be horribly written trash that looks nice. Id rather take shitty animation over that. I dont care what "the average show" is like, whats important is what the non average one is like. And with KyoAni in charge there hardly be a single nonshit show anymore.

Last year alone, Flip Flappers, Rakugo, 3gatsu, Natsume Yuujinchou Go, and Fune wo Amu far outstripped anything KyoAnus has ever attempted, while Flying Witch and Amanchu were certainly on tier with their beset work.

Flip Flappers could have been amazing but fell apart into some sort of weird Evangelion imitation in the second half, and not nearly as good. I can give you 3-gatsu being very good (even if I generally dislike SHAFT) and while I enjoyed Flying Witch it was nothing close to something like K-On in terms of characterization/character interactions.
