Lip flaps aren't animated, that was a stylistic choice and an economical choice. It does fine without them in conveying emotion. Also, it looks great.

Definitely a good film. All the trials gone through, the transition into embracing her sexuality was really cool. The little epilogue was okay, feels weird watching it now because the ending point just sounds corny when they deliver it.
