I thought Piccolo losing 3 arms in one episode was easily one of the most intelligent, subtle and elegantly crafted moments in anime and literary history. Truley Toei writers are the Shakespeare of the modern era.

The anime is shit. It only lives on nostalgia. Change its name into something else and nobody will give a single shit. People will probably rate it at 1 or 2/10
