we've got most of the moving basics down with auto correcting moving bipeds and quads. since tech advances exponentially it really is close.

Considering that there is a very real market for artificial limbs and organs, we will probably be able to synthesize human bodies to a relatively large degree within the next few decades. Maybe it will even be partially organic.
AI is still much further off. You might get a pretend-AI, basically a very sophisticated Siri, within the next decade, and improved versions every decade after that.
But it's difficult to say if or when real AI will come or what it will be like.
