I do have a soft spot for amateur athletics, but that's besides the point. Just because there are these meta-games going on doesn't mean I like or support them. It's not like I'm just hypocritically opposing performance enhancing substances only, but I object to a lot of these practices that I think have over time subverted the purpose of competitive sports. I'd like weigh-ins to be on the morning just before the competition so there's no chance for athletes to manipulate their water weight. There's a lot of things I'd like to see curtailed in sports, but we can start with the most physiologically damaging practices first.

Different anon and definitely not. There's a lot of false assumptions going on this thread, like one anon saying that nutrition methods and regular medical testing have a similar impact to anabolics, which is objectively and quantifiable false, but that's a whole other topic.

First of all, if you take the specific women who appear on the video (Tate and Nunes) neither of them walks around at much higher than a 160 pounds when outside the ring at most, which considering the difference in muscle mass between males and females, would put them at around the total muscle mass of a man weighting 120 to a 130 pounds. You probably think that anabolics should level the field (which they do to an extent) but this ignores a few crucial facts
1. Women continually produce high levels of estrogen, which naturally limits the amount of protein that their bodies convert to muscle fibers
2.They can't just use whatever amount of anabolics they please (not even if they could get it administered in a contoled and safe fashion) quite simply because the WADA can and does test for it, which could get them suspended. This is exactly what happened to Chris Cyborg, for example.

This isn't to say that an untrained male would simply walk in the octagon and win against Tate or Nunes, even with a weight advantage, but physical strength as a direct result of muscle mass would most certainly not be the decisive factor.

PEDs encompass a lot more than just esteroidal anabolics, and in fact, most dopping now a days rarely involves severe steroid abuse at a high competitive level, precisely because they're easy to detect. There's a lot more to be said about this isssue, such as steroids cycling, HGH use, blood transfusions and transgenic PEDS, but I wanted to clarify this few points first.
