No really, what the fuck even were some of these things? Has any other series even come this close to capturing the feeling of a higher, divine entity attacking earth?
I liked that most of them represented fairly well their names in some way or another.

Not that I've seen. Some do get a bit out there, but not to the seriously otherworldly level of some of the Angels.
