Unless I'm watching it as it's airing every week, I can't finish anime I like. Anything that would get an 8 or higher from me, unless it airs every week, I can't finish it. I just cannot. I watch the first episode, if I like it, I download the entire anime, and when I get around the last 3-4 episodes, I stop watching. I can't deal with ending something I like. I want it to go on forever. If I finish it, it'll end and I physically cannot do that.

If I'm watching something every week, then even a 12 episode anime lasts 3 months. I can deal with ending it after that. But if it has finished airing, it gets way harder. To this day, I haven't seen the last 2 episodes of Lucky Star, which I started in 2009. I rewatched it twice over the years, watched one extra episode each time, bringing the number of remaining episodes from 4 to 2, but I still haven't finished it. It's most a problem with SoL like those, other genre are easier to deal with.

I do this most days, but each day there are usually less than 50 new pages. With the Better Better Booru greasemonkey script it takes me about 10 minutes to go through every new page, open tabs for thumbnails that look good, then check and save them. I've honed the ability to judge image thumbnails through years of using dialup, but 2 hours is extreme unless you're looking at every single image in full resolution.

Gotta pump those numbers up. I'm currently reading at least 153 (according to my batoto account), and usually get a minimum of 3-4 chapters of something I read daily.

Half the reason why I had any friends at all in school was because I watched anime, at the beginning I thought I only loved a few anime that could be count with one hand and never ever thought that I would end up watching more and end up loving the medium. I was a closet weeb and tried not to get too much into it, it just didn't seem like something I would get much into and also I wanted to not to do so. As someone who lived in a third world country where people have a shut af mentality aaaand that already let alone had an extremely negative view on anime. You had to be reaaaaally fucking suicidal to be open about it even if it was a close friend, So I had to be careful about it and tried so much to negate myself to this hobby that didn't even take much of my time anyway. b4 I run my mouth. Yah, I said fuck and now I' here on /a/ and I grew close to those friends
