How do people feel about Mad Max and Tank-kun's designs? After obsessively drawing them, I do feel Mad Max is kinda out of place with the head gear. The fact hes got those goggles that I remember hipster people wearing at cons a good 5 year ago as well as the rock slices on his head, he just...seems to stick out? the fact his top is mostly plain other than the vest which is like Dolomite's but plain and with straps instead of frills looks kinda really our of place next to his head. I suppose it makes sense laying next to treads, but the fact it has a deliberate collar is odd. Maybe would have better if he was just straight up shirtless.
Tank-Kun is pretty cool, I like it and it does call back to the PNG background we got. The way his body and feet are in there look cool. Araki really hit the nail on the head.
The design on Tank-Kun's treads kinda made me to think about Blue Hawaii too. Those white bone markings just seem familiar alongside it. I'm super digging JJL's stands and

I do wish if we get another Stand Guide-like thing he'd talk about the character design too. Or maybe once the movie and such nonsense is over people might interview him about JJL more.

That "Going Higher" talk with Dolomite I remember having a chat with a friend about it. It doesn't come across as that bad to me other than being angry at Josuke.
He kinda reminds me of a Jojo past his adventures, turmoil and struggling to settle down. We've seen he's been through shit as a kid multiple times, then learning to skate, and now always going to exotic places and spending big. Sort of like he has to seek that challenge and happiness regardless of it's consequences. The type of the guy you wouldn't expect to attempt to settle down and be an old man watching television. Little things like not informing them about Kaato and turning up late for pancakes just to start drama.
There's also so much we don't know about him and every time he appears something is layered on top so there's that.
The Speed King v S&W comparisons is what makes me thing he's going to stay Antagonistic.

Even if he's kind of a meme and one of the earlier JoJo characters, I feel that Speedwagon is one of the better written character plot points in any kind of media. What I mean is that we see his journey in Part 1 to try and stay relevant, and him setting up a huge organization in Part 2 to do just that for the rest of the original universe's lifespan. One could even argue that he spent his life setting up his death, all for the respect he had for Jonathan and the need to help him in any kind of way. He basically archieved immortality by embracing his humanity, and that's why everytime the Speedwagon Foundation plays a role in any part, no matter how convenient, I smile. Because I know that the plot is advancing thanks to Speedwagon's efforts, and not some other random company whose history we don't know.

No Bruno, Narancia, Abacchio, Mista and all the antagonists made part 5. Grateful Dead and White Album were probably the best stand fight sequences in the entire series and the setting was really compelling and fun. Giorno was literally just there to hit all the major checkpoints for the team and heal people when they went down.
