Dokuro is a good one because it was a great mix of comedy, story, and lewd. The other two, not so much. A great one was He Is My Master though. Best maids, best alligator (crocodile? I forget), and a good mix of story and lewd. Also a lot of amazing doujin work

Modern ecchi is better. Eiken paved the way for stupidly huge boobs and amazing jiggles, but two episodes and no nudity really hurts it when taken by itself.

Why would I ever suggest that? Nipples should always be drawn in from the beginning, planned, and each character given her own unique set. That's why Manyuu Hikenchou, Seikon no Qwaser, Valkyrie Drive, and Queen's Blade stand out, because those directors care. They'll change the color, the color, the diameter, the length, and other characteristics about the nipple and areola.

I heard that the main reason the manga suddenly dropped most of the lewd was because the author originally started Manyuu as a "take that"/tongue-in-cheek sort of thing to what he deemed unnecessary ecchi in anime/manga.

However it completely backfired (to the surprise of no one but him) when fans completely ignored the authors attempt to insult and just demanded to see more and bigger tits.
