Name a better sports anime, I dare you. I'll wait. I'll wait a long time. Because you cant.
>Ping Pong the animation
Everything touched by Taiyo Matsumoto is fucking gorgeous, you monumental faggot.
Man this fucking show, Gimme it back.
Touch is better.
Also OP, I loved Ping Pong, but Touch is far superior.
Lol no, and I like tennis and I like this anime. It's the same old "introduction to a sport" anime starring an MC who's sole purpose is to act as a liaison between the ignorant viewer and the sport, who then inexplicably and unrealistically becomes a master of the sport. It's formulaic as hell, Sports Anime 101.
Touch is good but Aoba is too cute
the better ping pong anime
Ping Pong is really really good but there's really no contest.
I liked both ping pong anime equally.
Yeah, Mahjong can get pretty physical so it's definitely a sport
friendly reminder that Washizu lost in Washizu Mahjong because he wasn't /fit/ enough.
He lost more blood than Akagi, fought off tanks and helicopters and was still okay near the end
That's super /fit/
I liked CrossGame better, Touch is good but lacks direction.
Also the characters were much more fleshed out, even the secondary characters like that fatty that got together with the track n field qt.
Touch is extremely direct, though. There's a clear goal the entire time,
even if it does change MCs.
Also it has some pretty iconic scenes. Actually Touch is probably the most well known/popular sports TV series in Japan. The manga was extremely popular too, but I think Slam Dunk sold more?
BDs look better than I thought. Everyone else was making fun of it. Should probably replace my release
What sort of new faggotry is this post. Lurk forever before posting
Smile and Peko are fucking fags, Kong should have won.
>BDs look better than I thought
It's not greatest remaster I've seen but it's probably better than the DVD.
I would like Saki more if the matches weren't solved by magical bullshit luck and would actually have some decision making and discussions about what they think and are planing to do, sort of like how Akagi does it. Albeit I only watched the first series and not Nationals, so for all I know it could have gotten better.
you should get a better encode, anon.
