Selesia: provokes her and explains nothing
Mamika: not very smart so she bluntly explains she wants to destroy the world to make herself the enemy, though ended up losing her cool and killed her
Aliceteria: goes out of her way to fuck with her during her fight with Selesia to make her waver her loyalty, and doesn't seem to give a fuck she is starting a "revolt"
Magane: doesn't even bother
Rui: doesn't bother with him either for some reason
Blitz: was too loyal to her, she kindly convinced him he shouldn't be with her and instead follow his own dream.

Considering she did literally nothing with the characters on her side, it seems like Altair plans to give reasons to have everyone fight against her. And since she dismisses the only loyal one, she doesn't want people on her side. Though the optimal way towards Aliceteria would be to straight out say she killed Mamika.

But the most irrelevant character is Rui. He barely did anything, his finest moment was a dialogue with Soda in ep 11 which could've been delivered by anybody else. You can erase Rui from the show and no value will be lost. Same goes for Yuya and Blitz. And it's not because i hate them, it's because they're underdeveloped so much that it's hard to care for them.

Yeah, getting the eyes right is pretty hard. I've done a number of 3d versions of animated characters, and it never gets easier to translate into 3d well. Either the eyes have to be shrunk to be more natural, but that makes them less expressive, or you can make them not actually spheres, but that doesn't look very good usually.

There are a lot of closeups to the eyes in this show so you can use a lot of references, personally I like the model they use for the mmd while it's not completely characteristic for the hime it looks conventional enough for it to be very much passable.

Souta's story feels like a massive red herring. They've made it very clear they want us to think the story he's made is the miracle team Red are searching for, when one episode ago they made it obvious that we aren't supposed to guess what the hell is going to happen next. It's the same with the inonsistency of the words that came from Altair's mouth, her obvious lying to Aliceteria and Mamika should at least make us suspicious of the moment she had with Blitz and especially her unlimited power she claims to have.

The reason it was him is because like Souta, in his story he was the depressed kid who got scared and messed up, hence why he sees Souta's self loathing for what it is and gets mad at it.
