He's actually okay at character antics. If FT were 95% comedy, 5% action and plot, it'd be a lot better.

His main flaw is that he puts zero effort into world building. Nothing that isn't a magic guild matters in FT's setting, and those are basically just martial arts dojos who take odd jobs. The magic system itself isn't really well fleshed out, and the powers of the characters succeed, fail, and evolve as the plot demands.

But yeah, unless he can write a functional setting for his next work, this needs to be the last time that he writes action. Maybe he can go work as the artist for a better writer.
