Comedy manga is really hard to translate. People just don't translate them. Also, some of translated have completely lost the jokes.

Level E (very American comedy), Kill me Baby (more slapstick), and Arakawa Under the Bridge (everything) are prolly among the best for people used to American humor.

honestly this. most manga humor isn't going to translate over well so nichijou's humor works wonders
