I think with PHF getting a re-release, I really don't think DP will skip not sliding in a couple PHF references or at least a epilogue scene like the ones they added for Part 4.
DP are well aware of the spin offs and side stories, the DMQ references with Kira for example goes all the way back to the hat guy on the bus.
(I also realise I've been calling Pearl Jam "Manic Depression" recently.

Well it depends how they structure the episode. If they are giving an entire episode to Rolling Stone then you could link it to after Mista open's the window and the air flows in. There's photos behind Giorno on the wall. You could always use that to zoom in on that photo at the start of PHF.

Down time/team talking. Just like the extra scenes they added in Part 4 such as when Jotaro/Josuke reflect after Highway Star. Things like the lunch scene at the start of TH/TC could be extended, the car journey with Fugo, the boat ride before GD/O.

I'd also like to see the Sorbet/Gelato scene not panel by panel but use of foreshadowing Diavolo or Cioccolata. Could even do both by having like a footage being played back showing what happened with the boss blacked out. It would match then what happens with Moody Blues and Donatella

How will the anime handle the Rolling Stone arc? I don't really see it going over well with most audiences if they go about it like the manga, but it might be a bit weird if they put it at the beginning when it chronologically happened before they are properly introduced narratively. For how long the parts are, I think 39 is as short as we're going to get. Part 5 and 6 are both a bit shorter than 4 though, they might manage to cut them down a little more.

Part 7 anime is going to take fucking forever if they actually do it though. I don't see them fitting 24 volumes into even 48 episodes. Honestly, with everything that'll make Part 7 such a nightmare to adapt, I sort of hope they just stop after 6. I don't want to see it get the Berserk treatment.

It'd be jarring as fuck to swap art styles in the last thirty seconds of the last episode. I'd rather have the whole OVA in the same style of the anime as well.
It's completely different from the Rohan OVA as that is as disconnected from Part 4 as it possibly could. PHF is almost a direct sequel to VA with pretty much all of the characters returning, there is a lot of flashback sequences, from what I recall at least.
Overall having the same art style seems very beneficial.

Better editing, more fast paced smooth action (Instead of long pan shots) and a competent director could make it work. Jojo anime has pretty bad pacing. They spend 40+ minutes on most arcs, when they could be done in 25-30 minutes. And episodes dont have to begin and end the same time as the new arc starts/ends. An arc can last 1,5 episode, and a new one can already start in the second episode. It would work for such a fast paced action adventure as part 5.

I imagine I will like it much more upon a reread, but I still think they are a bit too long, HW is justified considering the amount of shit that happens in that arc.
I also distinctly remember liking Anasui in the spotlight, but Weza stealing it in the last minute pissed me off. Him going insane was very weird too, even if thematically coherent.
I feel like the prison setting was very well utilised, making for very dynamic and entertaining arcs, like Savage Garden and Debt Collector, and having Pucci around constantly made things feel super tense at all times too.

They should cut out some of the inner monolouge and only leave in the important things. PHF is a mediocre book for children which is a horrifically bad sequel that actively shits on the themes and characters of 5. There's a reason Araki acknowledges Golden Heart Golden Ring and not it.

Narancia is reduced to a prop for Fugo to be sad over. Mista is an unfunny, boring asshole. Abbacchio is randomly a child-killer who never bonds with his teammates (something which is outright shown in the manga.) Buccellati is an unknowing fool who, in spite of being in the mob doing dirty-work since he was TWELVE, needs to be shielded from ugly work by Abbacchio and Fugo. Giorno is DIO 2.0 who disrespects Buccellati's wishes, legacy and sacrifice completely, rules through fear and lies, and forces his men to kill at gunpoint.

Fuck I really wish Fugo had been DIO's son too, he's the only member of the gang whose background we never get a good scope of in the story. Maybe have his family become rich from DIO's fortune, and then relegate him when his DIO temper starts showing. Another thing I forgot to add, DIO has a shitty temper, similar to Fugo, both go crazy when they are mad.
Honestly, Fugo would probably be one of the most iconic characters in the series, had the traitor arc happened, and had been well handled, of course. Araki's editors were probably pissed when he changed his mind about it.

Viz names aren't the same as Crunchy names. CR used most of Viz's names in their subs because they were already tested and safe in the first print of SC. They had to come up with their own names for DiU Stands, though, which is why they were weird.

Remember, Viz got the rights to use Vanilla Ice, so that's what he'll be called in the dub. It also gives hope for more names staying the same in Part 4. The more popular it gets in the west as well, the more likely artists and companies may be willing to let their names be used for publicity alone.

Crunchy a shit, and for some reason Viz seems like they used their subs for parts of their script. I read through my old manga prints and it's supposed to be a really shitty pun. In the old prints, Hol Horse says "You don't stand a chance in hell", and Polnareff replies "What? You don't like the way I smell?"
