Are they just bullshitting for legal reasons and doing it anyways, or is the guide outdated? There's no "rule". They might not even announce it. The fact that season 2 is happening soon means the chances are higher, but not that it's 100%. There's quite a bit of merch going up for pre-order, but for the Nendoroid it may happen soon, midway through season 2, after it ends or not at all, there's no way to know.
Same deal for new ones. They might be announced at any time, be it at WonFes, after the anime ends, before it does or whenever they feel like it.
Only thing you can do is wait for the season to at least finish, then if it doesn't get a re-release you're stuck with the aftermarket.

Mostly it's a money problem, buyfag nowadays is way too expensive, unless you got a pretty good job. Also, i literally didn't have more space for figs anymore, and dusting every single one of them in time has become quite a hassle.

Also, to be honest, i really appreciated just a few of them. In fact i'm basically keeping the best ones. And i'm even interested in two figs that comes out this year, so it's not a definitive stop.

It kinda depends on the figure. If they're simple, then I think 5cm is fine, but larger and busier ones, like Miku's hair or some with a bunch of accessories can end up looking a bit cramped with lots of "steps" with multiple risers, so you would probably need something closer to 7 or 8cm of difference between them, but not much more than that, because 10cm is too much I think. I usually only have a couple of risers and then display them horizontally on my desk, so the height is fine.
You can also try longer ones if you want either more space between them or just more figures per riser, but at 25cm I can leave about 2cm of space between each base with three of them, and I think that's fine.

His arm is a straight tube, you could easily just make it out of metal and paint it then anchor it to the base well. That takes us outside of the realm of prize figs but from an engineering perspective it's not a difficult challenge.

I've been using jpn-depot for a while now. They're okay, but can get expensive since they charge per parcel that they receive and Amazon is stupid and sends every order in like 4 parcels.

Hi you guys. Have you ever received a package from AmiAmi with the shipping box (the one that says FRAGILE) in perfect state, but the figure box damaged? I bought White Odette & Black Odile brand new, no preowned, and the box came with a huge dent on a corner and a minor one on the side.

I sent a message to AmiAmi regarding the issue but I am not sure whats going to hapen.

For storage/receiving your packages they charge you per volumetric area occupied per day by your packages, even when you have very big orders (above 1 cubic meter) it still ends up cheap.
They charge about 200jpy per combining job. If you combine 4 packages itll be only 200 yen, if you combine 2 it'll still be 200.
I think they also charge 300jpy is your package exceeds 4kg when shipping back to you (someone has to carry your big shit).

Their customer service is somewhat slow and their webpage is very cryptic (I had to guess most of the stuff the first time I tried them), you have to send them a message when you want to combine, split or ship your stuff to your address.

I use them mainly for comiket events and loli doujinshi forwarding.

Last comiket I bought 54 doujins in three differents packages, from different stores.

According to their calculations, the total space occupied by all my stuff multiplied by the time spent on their warehouse (about 2 weeks) was 99jpy (not bad), 200jpy for them to combine everything and extra 300 because the package was too heavy.

In total I paid 599jpy to ship a 5kg box with merchandise totaling around 16k jpy (International shipping raped me at 15k jpy tho), my loli doujinshi were neatly hand-packaged and secured nicely.

I highly doubt there can be a cheaper and better service so I'll stick with them, they also accept loli so that's a plus.
