Why do you think Netero was an Emitter? His abilities didn't require to detach his aura, it had to expand a lot but the buddha was always shown surrounding his body. Considering he needed to use the aura to make extra arms, it seems more likely he was Enhancer and his abilities used Transmutation and Emmission, with certain restrictions to increase efficiency.

In fact, at Netero's level, it might not even be important to deviate a little from your main category. During the attack to the palace, Zeno used those flying dragons that neccessarily required Emmission, if he's Transmuter it means he has only a 60% efficiency with Emmission, and still the dragons were pretty destructive.

I'm leaning towards either emitter or conjurer, because those are the two most interesting ones for me, I find.
Since he's had nen training before, I expect he'll be back on the ropes once he has that done.

I could see it being one new and one established character. Gives room to flesh out one some more and also add a new one without doubling down, plus it gives a lot of speculation opportunities. It'd be a neat chapter cliffhanger to have the new member show up, job and then have Kurapika look up and see a silhouette with the Spider tattoo and say something like 'no, not you!'. Provided it's not the last chapter before a hiatus that is.

Because everyone it bites becomes extremely homicidal. There's more to it than what we know for sure, it might breed really fast or be really hard to catch so letting it run free means it can infect hundreds or thousands of people until it's found. IIRC it was stated that it cannot be cured so anyone it bites is a raging homicidal maniac for the rest of their life. From what we know it's not humanity ending but pretty close on it, there's bound to be more to it though. It's the Calamity I'm most interested in seeing tbqh, there's tons of potential in how Togashi implements it, from who it bites, where it takes place etc. tons of opportunities for an awesome fight.
