It was pretty good.
Needed more spear fighting, though.
Probably would have enjoyed it more if they just told the story of Balsa growing up instead of Chaggum.
Lone wolf and stray cub stories always get me in a good way.
It's too bad that the books will never be translated.

I thought it was a terrible series but I surprisingly couldn't stop watching it.

Both this and Erin would have benefited with cutting their episode counts in half. They just had too much room, so they got a little funky.
Give them some constraints and tighten up their animations and story, and it would have really done better, I think.
