There's nothing ironic about my enjoyement of their stuff. I don't like LWA but that's unrelated to the problems you're complaining about (I find the story they went with really boring and they're having an awful time balancing every character, I was ok with the SoL stuff in the first half of the show) but I really like Luluco it's one of the best short series I've watched in general and KLK, despite having kind of the same problems LWA has, still managed to be fun and not ruing the greatness of the first half with the somewhat boring plotline.
I would have understood if you complained about their total incompetence in the writing department or something like that but there's absolutely nothing poor with their titles especially in the animation compartment.

C3-bu was a lot of fun to watch with /a/ with Spec Ops: The Line and seeing Yura's rise and fall of her MLG no fun allowed was nice but I don't think it was particularly exceptional as a show.

No shit, most of the times they hide behind the poor animation behind art style (which is a good thing). I didn't criticize the animation though.

I criticized their anime for being poor made and for "it's ok because it's on purpose". Which totally isn't, because it's as bad as those harems where they say out loud something is a cliche. The only time they made an anime seriously it was that harem with the chuuni mc, forgot its name.
I also don't like how they pander to they west and how they enable a vast number of americans to vote with their wallets.

I don't use other anime communities so I can't talk about that, my problem is with people from /co/ and /v/ who are much more loud and vocal in Trigger anime threads than normally.

As much as I'd hate to see them go it just seems right at this point. I'd rather them just close their doors then continue forcing their way to stay relevant. Why do I get the feeling Anno is doing this just to try and steal the IPs? I mean, he did direct and all, but that doesn't mean he was the sole creator (which he probably likes to think) of everything Gainax did because it was a team effort.

The fact that the money now has to be returned isn't some great trick. As I mentioned earlier the sum of money is what a studio earns in 2/3rd of a year. That amount isn't what you would borrow unless you are really in trouble. Gainax borrowed that money because they were in a mess.

Realistically, they could have paid that money back if they just had one good year of profits. But clearly it is beyond them. And if they can't be profitable then the loan isn't the problem, the studio is already doomed.
