So what the fuck am I even watching? Just finished the first Cour, does it begin to make sense?
Yeah. Sums up my experience so far.
I thought (pic related) was just a meme, but oh boy
Yeah i remember threads nonstop during its airing. I kinda wish I had watched it with /a/
Yeah, because as we all know, Valvrave is the only anime with rape in it.
>does it begin to make sense?
Good one, anon.
How it ended? It has been a while and I can't remember a thing. Brain problems girl won, right?
This scene was the only actual good thing to come out of it.
>Coffee's best with sugar
No it isn't, fuck you Haruto.
>you will never declare your high-school an independent state
>you will never declare war on a country's alien illuminati shadow-government
>you will never wage said war via crowd-funding, shitposting on social media and Mechs
I watched Star Driver several years after it aired, and I absolutely loved it. Can't imagine how much fun it was to watch with /a/, so mad I didn't pay attention when it was airing. Missing it and Sora no Woto are the two big reasons I always check discussion on nearly every series to make sure I'm not missing something great with /a/.
Star Driver was still a lot of fun to watch solo though. Don't think Valvrave would be the same in that regard.
I dunno man. It's got mecha, POLITICS, aliens, advanced technology, social media power, mindbreak, supernatural powers, kinda sorta wish granting beings and fucked up people. I can't help, but SIT DOWN when I think about it. Plus it truly became a beautiful lie to me when L-Elf lost the princess into the damn atmosphere after reaching her in the end. I feel bad for him.
>mecha, POLITICS, aliens, advanced technology, social media power, mindbreak, supernatural powers, kinda sorta wish granting beings and fucked up people
I never realized VVV and SamFlam had this much in common. Well played.
Saki and L-elf was the saving grace of this tranwreck. Fuck I missed Saki so much, she was my first waifu (and still is to this day) and the one that introduced me to anime.
Somethingsomething hentai butterflies.
You need to watch Gundam SEED first to truly appreciate it.
I was in fact looking down on these waifufag and think they are some cancerous shit. But here I am, a complete Sakifag after VVV. I was so obsessed with her that during my senior year in HS that I didn't even made my graduation. I was completely a normie then, waifu is some serious shit yo.
It's an attempt to make a Code Geass-like show. It doesn't quite work because it doesn't have a Lelouch to carry it through the insanity; or rather it does, but he's stuck in the deuteragonist spot, while the main character is a conventional reluctant young mecha pilot.
>the studio that made SamFlam
RIP in pieces
There is absolutely nothing wrong with these.
>dropped at the start of the second season cuz it got boring
>to this day still watch the BOKU JANAI ending
I remember nothing about the anime except the cool mecha designs and the lyrics to that song.
True winner here. The competition died and he has his elf back.
>Shoko and L-Elf
A ship that never sailed.
Pretty sure that kid after the timeskip was Eruerufu and Haruto's.
>does it begin to make sense?
I remember mostly ignoring this line until I read /a/'s feedback on the episode. It's weird but I don't think the writing was meant to be silly. I say it's meaning is lost in translation
>all that nip fanart of mommy L-Elf and daddy Haruto
>Saki stuck in the middle of all of it
>tfw L-Elf didn't live forever but Shoko did
It's not fair, the only characters worth anything were L-Elf, A-Drei, Saki and Akira.
A reminder that the rape scene was actually LEAKED a few days before the episode aired (storyboard pic). Nearly everyone in the Valvrave threads didn't actually expect it to come true.
That's why there's those pics around of like ~15-20 valvrave pics in the catalog with various pics during the saki rape scene. Especially with Shouko doing the YOLO scene, how ironically appropriate
Also the evolution of the "im pregnant" Saki picture. Started out as roughly 2-3 panels and grew longer over time as more shit happened.
Haters gonna hate. I'm a Sakifag too, she was obvious best girl.
