Mugi caught the shaft. She was by a long shot the most interesting K-on and yet, the one the series focused on the least.
Oh she caught the shaft alright

That's weird, I thought she was the least interesting by far.

>Rich family
>Trips to Finland
>Gay and crushing on her teacher and drummer
>Super strength
You only think she's uninteresting because the show never gives her the attention her character merits.

Mugi spin off when?
Goddamn this release looks amazing.

She didn't need to be focused on.
K-on is about subtlety, the fact that you notice so much about her personality and motives without multiple episodes focused on her is a testament to how good the show is.

underrated

The show could still have subtlety and have more than one episode that actually treated her like more than an incidental character. The fight club episode is the only real Mugi episode, and even then she basically splits it with Satomi Sato's consistently how-stealing Performance as Ritsu.
Out shined Out shined. Out shined.

I should add that the Moozzi2 release solves the problem of Chihiro being the only high visual quality S2 release yet missing episodes 25 and 26. I'd highly recommend their S1, S2 and movie releases. I'd also recommend using MKVCleaver, MKVToolNix and https://github.com/tp7/Sushi to add subs to their releases, remove unnecessary audio tracks from their releases and convert the primary audio track to AAC/Opus with Foobar2k, since their releases contain multiple, huge-ass FLAC audio tracks (commentary tracks included).
She waited to the last minute to capture the sexiest outfit award.
