Have away for every cell to transmit it's information to every other cell, so during mitosis the cell should in theory have access to enough undamaged D.N.A. that it can, through a voting process, remove the damaged parts and replace them with undamaged, correct information. The other part of the solution is a cell structure that scans the D.N.A. after every mitosis and creates an entirely fresh version using a master set of information that is physically larger than normal D.N.A. so that the information is not lost when individual molecules decay.
