I was a huge TYPE-MOONfag for the longest time and I literally can't fathom how Takeuchi can be anyone's favorite artist.

What is a good starting point for Fate?
Can I watch one of the adaptations before the VN?

If you're so determined to not read. Watch the ufotable Unlimited Blade Works anime, then wait for them to finish releasing all the Heaven's Feel movies.

After that you can do whatever and dive into any spinoff/sequel/prequel, but until that you can do nothing.
