Andrew sees Akko as a friendly acquaintance by now, Akko sees him as a friend, and the only "rivalry" by now is between Andrew and Diana but that's less about Akko and more about whatever the relation between their family is. And even then I'm sure that's going to be brought up next episode (assuming he's still there by then), with the whole thing resolved and everyone together as friends by the end of the season.

One thing I like is how Akko embraced the power of friendship since episode 13. And the reason is because she's not talented, and subsequently, experienced how working together can actually achieve something greater than what you could have done yourself. It's the characters that are talented that want to shoulder everything themselves such as Constanze (before episode 18), Croix, and Diana.
