Problem with K is that it's a multimedia project. So if you can only watch the anime, then you only get like 1/4 of the experience of the franchise.

Not to say that makes it better, but it definitely hurts it for people. Season 1 was pretty fun, the movie had some good moments but S2 felt so aimless and a waste of time, it was really bad.

Why Deltora Quest is bad? I read the book when I was young and just discovered the anime. 20 episodes in and it was still great, though it may be due to nostalgia. Jasmine is really cute and Iike the sexual tension. Those people are not supposed to ever know how relationships are so they can only relate to the fuckups of people trying to start them.

Deltora Quest never pretends to be anything it isn't. You know what you're getting into the moment you start watching and while not innovate, its execution of the RPG adventure formula is very well done and the twists toward the ending are actually pretty fucking good. I doubt anyone saw the last Ols revelation coming.

You can watch Star Driver but it isn't as exciting without the /a/ weekly threads and live streams that happened at that time. Kiraboshi with /a/ was great.

Penguindrum is the absolute, most boring piece of trite garbage to ever be produced. /a/ threads might the show interesting with the countless theories and meme the show was producing.

Code Geass is always fun with more than one person. Watching it by yourself is just less an experience.

Mine is the new Ushio to Tora, I liked the manga and the anime started out great but I probably shouldn't have stuck with it for almost 40 episode. I mostly watched out of habit but working on my backlog would have been a better use of my time.
