Anyone else feel like anime has lost a lot of its charm compared to what it used to be?

You just got old.

No. Nostalgiafags are another form of cancer.
Nope.

Not really

Yeah, except that happened like 20 years ago

It's still the same, you're just old now.

Not really, if anything I'm enjoying it more now than I was 10 years ago.
Anime is changing, that is obvious. But not for the worse.
There are a few developments like CGI that don't quite work yet, but such transitional phases have happened before, like in the early 2000s, when they just started using computers for coloring.
So if you consider anime's charm to be made of a mixture of things you really value, then you can lament the fact that it's changing and developing. But it's a backward stance that only thrives on reliving the old, unable to appreciate the new.
It's not worse. It's different.
not much orginal story in anime but manga is good (most of the post wil say No because the oldis are gone feom this site)

Old anime also looked so much better than the new shit. It had much more shading and extra details put into it. Most anime today looks really unpolished in comparison.
