Ok, actually - I think I have figured out what's going on with this manga, and it's nowhere near as samefaggy as I thought. In fact, it's relatively simple, but the implications make Izuku and All Might seem like total cunts - and oddly enough, make me think that we've completely misunderstood Bakugou.
Remember how the Slime Villain wanted to borrow Izuku's body?

Remember how Bakugou "never laid a finger on Izuku?" since the day the two were attacked by the Slime Villain? Remember how Iida is suspicious of Izuku's intentions regarding Ochako near the beginning?

One for All isn't what you think it is. It's brainwashing/possession. It also does have clear narrative triggers - which is what makes these pages so darn satisfying. Actually feeling guilty for a change, Izuku triggers OfA to HELP Ochako - and she basically just tells him to fuck off.

I will post an album on this later, since it's actually pretty clear when you see the narrative trigger.

It's nice to see that Horikoshi is getting his hand on a less rushed arc, with proper setup.
I don't think it's that different, and the villain side of the story is as good if not better than the hero side.

It feels the same to me, as arcs still flow into one another naturally. Unlike others, I didn't hate the Provisional License Exam. As long as the arc structure still works and makes sense, things'll be fine. My probable main concern is that Hori won't give us some cushy SoL chapters that either lead to character development or world building.

He also needs to pair Deku up with other classmates. Like Momo. Let them butt heads.

I really liked the Twice chapter. It showed a side of a villain and it was a good way to showcase the happenings of the world. It felt really like those western comics would do.

Mirio is going to demonstrate that he has the true heart of a hero that could be a symbol of peace but not the plot armor of being an MC.

He'll do something truly heroic, then sustain a career ending injury or die. If it's the former, he'll still insist on being a hero but his ability to be #1 will have ended.

Development of side characters, especially villains.
How much plot armor there really is.
How open the universe really is.

If he can pull together some nice power development, grab some nice development for side characters, especially the villains(would love a Dabi backstory), avoid putting too much plot armor on MCs, and keep the universe very open, but focused, this series has a great path and direction ahead of itself. It mostly comes down to the development of side characters though. It's all the difference in making this a generic manga in the future, or a very tasteful and well made one. I have faith in him, he's been very consistent in his quality and there's very few chapters I've disliked out of this manga so far. Especially if he pulls very nice Kirishima style chapters, and keeps a well balanced system of interaction between Deku, Tenya, and Shoto, this series will not let down.

My read on Momo sees her as thinking he's reckless without really getting results. She didn't know what he did Todoroki during their fight and she also didn't see his raw heroism during his fight with Muscular. Having them get paired for another end of term test where they butt heads on methodology could lead to some interesting character moments. That's the pairing that I want to see most because I feel like it makes sense from a character perspective (slow planning vs fast impulsiveness) and from a battle perspective.
